What kind of turkey issues are you referencing? Too many or too few?

Wow. I could never go to sleep in the woods during rifle season. Even though our group was reliable we always had red neck trespassers who I would never trust.

What is your definition of butchering, skinning, quartering, or total processing?

I don’t deer hunt any more because I have gotten to the point where I don’t like the taste of deer meat. When I hunted I bow hunted from trees and rifle hunted from a lawn chair set next to a tv tray with coffee and food on it or from one of the ground blinds that I had scattered around the farm.

I am without a boat for a while. Mine is in the Nitro factory at Clinton. I expect it to be gone for a few weeks. If any of you guys have an empty back seat, I would be interested in renting it for a trip. What ever species you fish for doesn’t really matter. I have equipment for black bass, white bass and crappie. The day of the week or time of day is immaterial. I don’t have any out of state fishing licenses. If you could stand an old man in the back of your boat please send me a pm.

Yep I imagine it was sloshy water down by the dam yesterday. I didn’t know you were going to fish down there. I have been fishing between Haverstick and the State Park Marina.

My daughter travels all over the U S and Canada for work. She has been talking about the increased cost of hotels for several months.

Nope. My boat is in the factory for warranty work.

I had my motor serviced a while back and mentioned the boat was listing to port. They couldn’t get to it that day but set up a latter appointment. I dropped it off and went to Tennessee. On the way back home I got a call from a guy at R and D. He said that he had taken it to the lake twice and made some adjustments. During this process someone decided that it looked like some glass work was needed. Upon further inspection they found some bubbles in the gel coat. They agreed to take care of it under warranty at the factory. I never expected that. I was told that left unfixed it could result in several thousand dollars to fix later. This is a 6 year old boat. The down side is I have been on a good crappie bite and am going to be boat less for a month or two.

The entire state of Tennessee was pretty. There were literally hundreds of miles of good fall color. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for a fall trip, though there were lots of festivals going on thus many people. Rooms neat Gatlinburg were going for $400 per night plus taxes. We stayed in Newport and even there the hotels were sold out.

Don’t they give you step by step directions on how it is done? You probably can find a You Tube video of a how to.

I bought the St Croix LF 6’6”. I’ll try it next time out. May be a while as the boat is in for some warranty items and I am in KY. The lady in customer service said I could bring it back within 60 days if it didn’t work out.

BPS has the LF St Croix in the 6’6” length. I’m going to have a look at it later today.

I need a rod which will do a good job casting 1/16 oz jigs and maybe 1/32 oz. I have heavier covered. Any recommendations?

I used to use BBS but like Bow to Stern better. I’m just ranting about the lack of fresh water in the lakes.

I went Friday and caught 22 with 15 nice keepers. I took my neighbor today and we caught 50. We kept 30. All were associated with wood from 6 to 25’ deep. We used my homemade stingers. Every color that we used caught fish. Spring cricket was the best with monkey milk being the worst. The water temp was 70°.
