I have a couple of guys that I have sent reels to in the past but there was a significant amount of down time. I’m hoping for someone drivable, take them, then go back in a few days and get them not wait weeks like in the past.

I’m in the process of cleaning reels for fall. I cleaned and oiled 6 of my Curados but have 2 Curado DC reels. I’ve never taken them apart and would rather not. I don’t want to send them off and be without them for a month.. Do any of you know a close reel tech?

Nope. They are going to create a pickup label for FedEx so they can get it from him and ship it somewhere. I hope the somewhere is me.

When we drove over the Kimberling City bridge yesterday. My wife looked to the right and started counting boats. She saw 27. There were probably that many on the other side. But later in the day we crossed the Shell Knob bridge and she only saw 7. Our kids are at their lake house and haven’t even taken their tritoon out of the dock.

I damaged some of my Z20 decals up in Sons Creek. I decided to replace them. They were incredibly high priced but I decided to get them anyway. They weren’t in stock so they had to be ordered from the warehouse on the north side of town. I wasn’t allowed to go pick them up. I was told it would take a week or so for them to be shipped to the store. They would be processed and shipped to the service center. They would then be shipped to me at a cost of $19. Time went by and no decals. Yesterday I got a text from a guy a couple of hundred miles away saying he had my decals. I contacted the service center. A guy looked it up and called me back. It seems that the guy who got my decals has the same last name. So I guess a careless shipping clerk did not read the order very carefully. I feel a bit better now that I have thrown the monkey.

I hear you. Luckily my wife went with a friend so I didn’t have to go.

I went about 11:00 there was a variety of new and used stuff. I looked for Spoony’s table but he wasn’t there. I didn’t buy anything. I didn’t see anything that I need. The deal of the day was a burger, chips, and water for $3. My wife was with me and wanted to eat a bit higher on the hog so I also skipped that.

I hope you like them. I like Zman stuff. I know a guy who knows a guy who got me a deal this summer. I bought 66 packs of ZinkerZs so hope they will take care of me and I don’t have to venture into new baits.

I’m not in the market for anything but plan to drop by around 11 just to get out for a while and see how Spoony’s rod sale is coming along.

What are the hours?

That normally happens in the spring at the fishing classic. But it has basically been bait and switch as they had almost nothing last spring.

We only got 1.2” in Republic.

Ours didn’t do well. Turnips came up but not much else.

We fished from about 1/2 mile below the Hwy 39 bridge to the mile long bridge. Top water, buzz baits, and spoons were worthless. We caught 20 bass with 5 keepers on Ned, Shaky, and spinnerbaits. There was a light north east breeze with 83° water temperatures.

Nope. My fishing partner had to do job interviews so we are going this morning.

I figure the lower water might make navigation easier by showing more of the stickups. I for sure won’t be moving very fast.

I see gar all of the time at Table Rock but never long enough to examine them. Down by Piney it would be a bow hunter’s paradise.
