I threw it on and off for about 6 hours yesterday. I didn't have any ill effects this morning. It is after a few days in a row that I feel it in my elbows.

I went. The water was soft. I fished from Swan to K and only caught a couple of blacks on A rigs. No one was there in the am but by 1 lots of boats were out.

I'm doubting I can but I have not been out for weeks on end and that is the only place I know that isn't hard water. Thanks for the info. It is a pretty good hike to go all the way down there. It's nice to know I won't be turned back by ice. Is the RR ramp steeper now with the raised power pool? It used to be a chore to pick up a passenger with a heavy glitter sled. If all goes well I should be able to get down some time Sunday. Thanks again guys.

I use a MH rod with 50# braid. I also use an interlocking snap for easy changes. I've got about a dozen of them and have only lost 1. I don't like to fool with the baits when I am on the water so I just change the rig to the one I want to try. You just have to tie it on and throw it. It is a bottom snagging sucker so I try to keep it just above the bottom. It can be a pain when fishing cedars on a bluff. Put the other stuff away and throw only it until you get used to it. Be sure to have some icy hot for the elbow when the day is done if you hook a bunch of fish. After I use it for about 3 weeks it takes a couple of month for my left elbow to get back to normal.

I saw Zaraspooks pics of Stockton and decided not to go that way just yet. Has anyone seen the situation at BC or RR. Are the lots and ramps clean or is there still ice and snow down that way?

Sorry about your luck. What about the roads, ramps, and parking lots. Are they clear of ice and snow?

I'm guessing the motor weighs in at about 450# and the boat close to 1700 +-. I really don't have a clue about the trailer but you also have to figure in gasoline, batteries, trolling motor and gear. I'd say you are getting close to 2 tons. If you are going to be down in the hills around Blue Eye then you will need some umph to get over the hills.

What motor does it have?

That should be fine for Fellows. Unless they have changed the rules a 40 hp is the limit there.

Yep that is why I parted company with it. It cost more than my first hds 8 and I use it a lot more than the bike.

Yep. I can also back my truck on to the driveway. You can go ice fishing out of the windows.

This is a gym quality recumbent bike that I have rarely used. It is kind of in the way since I have bought a new wood burning stove. I paid about $1400 for it and will sell it for $700.

If you have changed your mind it would be nice to know.

Have a great time Bob. Wish I had time to go there myself. We have been cold as the propane gets lower in the tank and we push the thermostat down and down. I just can't bite off that $5/gallon myself. I don't have the $3000 for a fillup right now.

I had a 15" one day in the James. I was feeling pretty good until my b-i-l caught a 16 and a 17. I've never seen any bigger but I rarely crappie fish on the rock.

Black back silver body or blue back silver body have both been good to me.

I liked the puppy and Clydesdale but the others were sub par and they were all over the tv when I was at the gym this am. The half time is a matter of preference. I couldn't watch it after the shirtless dudes crawled on stage.
