Why not buy the 2000+ acre farm for sale on the upper end around Thomasville? That area is out of the scenic easement and would add more protection than a property already in the easement.
Have Akers or Jadwin put you in at Welch spring access. That is 2 miles of trout water and then 10 more to Pultite.
We floated welch to akers last sunday and the fishing was great but we fished it hard. We put in at 10 and got out at 6.
Caught several of these today. Water is low. They shocked Tan Vat to Baptist again today. The boys said they measured a 5plus # Brown.

Yep. We have had 1+ inches today and the real rain is coming in later. I was down yesterday evening and the water was perfect. There were a few over-nighters that were getting off today.

LAD/ Pioneer forest own a lot of the land along the current river as mentioned Chalk bluff also cave spring (that is why it is not closed due to wns) also all the land from round spring down past big creek. The land does have a scenic easement on it.
