    What's Cooking?

I also have been contemplating making Chicken Galantine and was inspired by this video. I wanted to use a stuffing of the creamed spinach that I have been making recently.

    What's Cooking?

I need to know the lobster tail sous vide recipe. Pleeeeeease
  3. Well I almost did exactly what you did...except I had Bourbon 😂 all kidding aside, it took me quite a few times, and it’s even harder with dissimilar diameter lines
  4. My only thought is that throwing a Ned with a super light weight and slow presentation could cause you to lose contact with the bait and deep hook one.

    Diet

My blood pressure was up to about 138 over 93 or so. My doc suggested I try the Mediterranean diet. It is basically fish, olive oil based foods, legumes, veggies, etc. but no red meat. I tried it (and not very strict) for a month and saw a dramatic decrease in my BP. Like 128 over 83
  6. I use that Seagaur Smackdown braid in either 15 or 20 (usually 20). I also use either Tatsu or InvizX for the leader.

  8. It literally just grabs the line like a Chinese finger trap. Maybe I’ll get my micrometer out and check the actual thickness of some knots.
  9. The FG knot is the Holy Grail you’re trying to achieve on a braid/Fluoro or braid/mono leader. It’s a tough knot to learn but it’s so thin and easily flys through the guides. It’s also so strong, maybe the strongest. Beats the uni to uni hands down for strength, which was what I was using before I tried the FG. that tiny fluff you can see is the braid separating on the tag

    What's Cooking?

Costco is now separating the yellow parts and blue parts for their prime cuts. The blue parts are held together With string and are their most expensive steaks. The remaining yellow part is still a prime cut but is a rip-off in my opinion, because the best part is gone. The best value is still the choice all together Ribeyes in my opinion...as long as the marbling is good.
  12. I agree wholeheartedly
  13. I learned to drop shot in 2019. 2020 will be getting my little ones interested in fishing. Already getting them interested in tying.
  14. But will it position fish in the non current areas?
  15. Any profit I make is not false. You must be talking about Prophets.🙄
  16. At least Lois Lerner is out
  17. Well taxes went down for sure but maybe so did deductions, maybe ask @Gavin
  18. Well we need to next year buddy!
  19. I understand your point. But if Bernie were elected, your buddy would make about 25% less... because it’s very important to level the field. Equality of birth isn’t good enough, we need equality of outcome too. Sad thing is, all we can do is cast a single vote.
  20. It's hard when its clear. We need to go sometime
  21. My nephew is part of social experiment for two weeks. He has to wear a Bernie 2020 shirt for two weeks to see how people react. So far he has been spit on, punched and had a bottle thrown at him. I am curious to see what happens when he leaves my house.
  22. Merry Christmas to all! mentally preparing to take the tree down already
  23. Well you need to care enough to get the right Supreme Court judges in at the very least
