  1. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard ”the next state record smallmouth will come from xxxxxx” they usually say Taneycomo, Table Rock, or some even say the Osage River. But I believe Stockton is the best bet. I know a guide last year caught a 6.8 on Stockton. Or something close to that
  2. My second one, It was better than the first one… But it’s not over yet. Thank you guys

  5. I wonder if Creve Coeur lake is frozen? Haven’t been by there in a while. My good friend and his wife own that canoe/kayak rental station there. He said 3 years ago him and his wife had to remove hundreds of dead Asian carp that washed up on shore. Like he said “who wants to rent a kayak with dead fish everywhere?”

  15. This got me thinking about John Prine and others that were noteable in the Blue Grass/ folk style that I love. What about St.Louis’s own John Hartford, who wrote what I consider one of the greatest songs of all time...Gentle on my mind. He was a graduate of one of the most prestigious private high schools in St. Louis, John Burrows school. His music and style seemed to be a huge contrast from that. Another favorite song of mine is City of New Orleans, which describes the slow death of railroads. Written by Steve Goodman, who died of cancer at a young age. Woody Guthrie was the best of the folk genre in my opinion. My my list of favorite song writers across the board...not necessarily in order or greatness, although Hank IS my number 1. 1. Hank Williams 2. Bob Dylan 3. Woodie Guthrie 4. Carol King 5. Paul Simon 6. Willie Nelson who are your favorites?
  16. I can’t help but think of this
  17. I’ll take Thanksgiving as my favorite time of the year for big fish
  18. So the NuTech spinnerbait works very well too. It’s a NuTech jig with a spinnerbait blade attached. I’ll literally throw the spinnerbait in a brush pile and bounce it out. Rarely gets hung
  19. But who got the last laugh?
