  1. They are not elazetech of course but they are durable. Read some of the customer feedback on the website.
  2. Agree with Wrench. If you want a jig to come close to disappearing then try to match the bottom color, which is most of the time some shade of green pumpkin. I usually think green pumpkin is not dark enough for me so I add black powder paint to my green pumpkin about 50-50, then I don't have to think about which color.
  3. Have no idea what you're referring to?!?!
  4. A-Rigs are flat out incredible
  5. A-Rigs are flat out incredible
  6. To think I could've bought them on sale at Grandpa Pigeons for darn near nothing, back in the day!?
  7. If you're a lure maker or tinkerer, like me, Tackle Underground seems to be a good source. I've only visited it a few times, but got some great info. Saved me a ton of time and money. Thanks for turning me on to it TrophyfshR
  8. I was thinking I would do the same thing! I bet 3 posts and I'm out!?
  9. Didn't Groucho Marx say that he would refuse to join a club that would have him as a member!? Carry on
  10. I met her before, You're a lucky man!
  11. This all brings up a good point...if chrome is nearly invisible in muddy water, and spinnerbaits are usually a great choice for murky water, is it mostly the vibration the fish use to locate with their lateral line?
  12. This is something we live with on the middle to lower Meramec....around the Bourbeuse confluence seems to be the hotspot
  13. Cletus is passing by Billy Bob 's hay barn one day when, through a gap in the door, he sees Billy Bob doing a slow and sensual striptease in front of an old John Deere tractor. Buttocks clenched, he performs a slow pirouette, and gently slides off first the right strap of his overalls, followed by the left. He then hunches his shoulders forward and in a classic striptease move, lets his overalls fall down to his hips, revealing a torn and frayed plaid shirt. Then, grabbing both sides of his shirt, he rips it apart to reveal his stained T-shirt underneath. With a final flourish, he tears the T-shirt from his body, and hurls his baseball cap onto a pile of hay. Having seen enough, Cletus rushes in and says, "What the world're ya doing, Billy Bob ?" "Good grief, Cletus, ya scared the bejeebers out of me," says an obviously embarrassed Billy Bob .. "But me 'n the wife been havin trouble lately in the bedroom d'partment, and the therapist suggested I do something sexy to a tractor."
  14. The markings are spots, the color is a dead giveaway for a hybrid
  15. Your father caught an 8.9 pound spotted bass at Stockton? I do think it's probably 3/4 spot 1/4 Smallmouth
  16. I think they prefer regular carp. My father in law once had an Asian Carp from the Mississippi. I told him to bleed it and remove the dark meat. He didn't listen.....he never ate one again! Yuck ?
  17. Would it be ok to throw Asian carp up on the bank??
  18. You're used to fishing lighter lures and spinning rods, I rarely go below 3/16 oz, mostly 5/16 or above.
  19. Possible title: "Vernon gets abused by split ring pliers, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt"
  20. You forgot to mention crawling around on the floor looking for the split ring that just popped/sprung out of the pliers and bounced off two walls.
  21. I think CX premium was good for spinning reels. I really never tried it in anything over 10 lb. I lost a nice fish in the river with 10lb test, that in my opinion shouldn't have happened. Diameter = abrasion resistance...too thin is not always good. I use Yozuri almost exclusively now. Granted, it doesn't have the limpness or small diameter, but I don't loose many fish either.
  22. Ouch, oh well you needed a bigger garage door anyway!
  23. And don't try to get an IGFA line record with it.
  24. Dried crispy worms on top as a garnish!
