Many advantages to fishing out of a jet boat. You can go back and catch that one fish that you missed on a buzz bait blow up. You can also fish about 3/4 length of most rivers. No shuttling, also the wind doesn’t blow you around like a kite. Standing while fishing makes casting easier and more accurate, less fatigue at the end of the day, live wells, multiple people can cast comfortably. Relatively low gas consumption. I’ll never go back. oh and I forgot....fish main lake points with @fishinwrench

This is to showcase the difference between AMERICAN and Chinese cultures. So I went to the Newer Chinese market at Manchester and 141. They also have a mini restaurant in there. The bill came to $10 and some change. I whipped out a credit card (never use your debit in a Chinese restaurant btw). The lady says with a very tentative look on her face “so sorry, you have to have a $15 minimum on credit cards or we have to charge an extra 3%” I said no problem, and she looked at me sheepishly...kind of like, “Are you sure?” 😂😂 I”ll pay the extra to keep my debit card info intact!

People are generally lazy and uncaring about the rules. When they get busted they just plead ignorance. I was fishing at Boiling Springs on the Gasconade once and saw a guy and his little girl fishing at the spring...they actually had their boat tied to a log with 10 feet on the spring itself. I saw him put a 15” smallmouth on a stringer, and he already had several more on the stringer. Keep in mind this was during the one fish, 18” limit days. I tried to be very polite and tell him that I didn’t want him to get a ticket because of his undersized fish. He said to me “I’ve been fishing here 40 years and I’ve never heard that!”

Hey @snagged in outlet 3 , back in the day, there used be be some big browns caught on that stretch....what’s the biggest brown you’ve ever heard of taken from there?

Glad he lived a good long time after that! My father had a heart attack at 64 and lived till he was 90. I’d say they both did well!
