  1. You know me too well!!😂
  2. Wonder how many whopper Ploppers/buzzbaits are the fish gonna see the weekend of October 7-8th at LOZ??
  3. Love the color of that craw
  4. I'm an optimist too and also believe, as you say, the percentage of bad is exaggerated and goes viral! The only thing I differ with this statement is the fact that I have zero faith in humanity. The flesh is weak.
  5. You took the words right out of my mouth!
  6. Yep, totally lazy and inconsiderate. The percentage of giggers who don't give a crap is pretty big. If I bought a box of shotgun shells and 5 didn't fire, I'd call it a pretty shitty box of shells.
  7. You don't need big lures!! 😂 I saw Billethead at a party the other day, or maybe this was you Pete!!😂😂😂
  8. Absolutely 100%

Man! just saw this...How awesome is that??
  10. Glad to see your recovering from that flood. Great report!
  11. Sand Ford
  12. When they are generating you can work them fast with hard twitches from the rod tip, with slight hesitations in between. You only turn the crank to take up slack with this method. The speed and hesitation time is determined by the fish, but when generating, it's usually fast. You can reel very slowly, but it's definitely not the same reaction bite. I've seen guys slowly reel with smaller countdown minnows with good success in the past years.
  13. On a white Senko 😂
  14. Well, there is the releasing of river tourney fish at certain accesses, but that's only on jet boat rivers. As you said about giggers, they usually stay close to the ramps for safe running at night. They will most defiantly kill a ton of bass every year if the access is within a half mile of good winter habitat.
  15. Hilarious!
  16. My 2 cents. There seems to be a large percentage of the bigger fish that are literally right on the bank, I'm talking 6" from the bank, I'm guessing a current refuge and possibly a great way to camouflage themselves. There also seems to be some merit in making repeated casts to the same rootwad. I mean only a foot or two from your last cast. Several times we caught fish after the third or forth cast into the same tree. On the topwater bite... vary the retrieves until you find the hot button cadence. Use heavier than your normal tackle, make sure your drags are functioning properly.
  17. Great job Scott! Thanks for posting!
  18. This is classic.... not in a good way
  19. I would've done the same thing, I hate mantises with a passion 😜
  20. The pic certainly doesn't do it justice then.
  21. This is 24 pounds?
  22. It's a Chinese thing, the tutor is Chinese as well a professor from Washington U
  23. I get all of that, but It's an over priced racket. As I said before, Not much bang for the buck. We hired a tutor for our sophomore to help her be prepared for admission to top schools (I won't tell you what this costs) The testing and essay writing involved in this preparation seems a little disingenuous. Like when you're reading a job application that seems too good to be true. But it has to be done I guess.
