Well, Aaron did it again today.....he has a pretty unreliable cell phone signal so he wanted me to post them for him. 15 pounds of smallmouth for best 5 he had 5 fish over 18" his partner had 2 more over 18" i believe these were 2 of the biggest

I use both the WP and the Rover by River2Sea. The Rover is also an excellent bait. Especially the Aaron Martin tuned version. But since the WP became so popular, they've completely restocked the shelves at BPS with WP's and you can't even find a Rover anymore!?

I kind of tried a couple of glass rattles in the craws, which seemed to work well. If you take a old telescoping car antenna, you can find the right diameter to core out an internal cylinder that makes a perfect spot for the rattle. They also make a coring tube that's for sale in certain fishing catalogs. But I totally agree Al, the number of cues in your favor could mean a few more strikes during the day, and possibly help you win a tournament.

Well, it all sounds good to me, except I would be a little careful setting a hook with heavy rod with an extra fast tip on 12 lb test PLine. If there was ever a night time fishing guru on this forum, it would be Bo. Bo always uses braid at night. This might help with driving that hook home.

So many factors here.... how stiff was the rod? what line size and type? drag set too light? hook too small for the plastic? what kind of hook and was it sharp? how deep were you fishing?

Very nice bass! Usually I just reduce the size of the pic on my iPhone and re upload and it fixes it. There might be an easier way to resize, but for me, I just view the pic with my phone, then take a screen shot (if you don't know how you can look it up) then I use the screen shot to upload instead of the original pic. You can also just "edit" the size of the original pic by cropping in the edit function as you're viewing it.

Use a Yozuri Pin's minnow with a faster cadence, twitch and pause technique. Either size will work, but for 17" fish and under the smaller one will be better. -
