So if you didn’t take precautions with a tornado? What would happen? If you didn’t take precautions with Covid what would happen? 99.9% of the time NADA. I wear a mask, I’m considerate to others, but all these dumb comparisons.....
-
Yes, I wear a mask and I’m a nice guy..thanks 😂😂 i want you to watch this with an open mind...it’s a young Michael Moore BTW

If you get hit by a tornado there’s a 99% chance you die, if you don’t get hit by a tornado you live. if you get hit with Covid 99.9 you live. DUH

So if a construction worker wears a hard hat he keeps things from falling on other people?

The first instinct is to say yes, but everything needs to have sensible boundaries. On a slightly different note: so I get a phone call yesterday from my little daughters pre school. One kid from her class last Tuesday left school and tested positive on Saturday. I had to pick up my daughter and quarantine her for 10 days at home. We immediately took her as soon as we picked her up from school to get tested...negative. we tell the school...doesn’t matter, still at home for 10 days. So now one of us has to forgo work for 10 days. Thank goodness my wife’s mom was available to watch the child. Imagine how many families aren’t so lucky. so why the BS? 6 days after an exposure she checks negative and we still get a no answer.

I wear a mask because I’m required to. I don’t really like to but I do it anyway. I still think it’s overblown. Bottom Line for me... 99.9% of the people recover from it. why turn the world on its head?

About 13 years ago, My business partner and I went over to Barcelona, Spain to look at a new scanning technology. We were thinking about becoming their North American distributor. Very cool place...The architecture was very cool, the Tapas we ate was very good, and in general just a fantastic place to visit. During the visit, the owner of the company took us out one night to Barcelona Stadium to watch a soccer game. The cool part of this was that Lionel Messi, probably the greatest soccer player of that time, and maybe GOAT, was playing in his home town team stadium. The owner intentionally rode with us on the subway over to the stadium. That night they were playing Germany, and it was apparently an important game and tensions were a little high. There was a group of young Germans on the subway, singing a German song out loud that had the same tune of “Oh Susannah”. They were belting it out at about 75% max volume. The locals were just kind of grinning and rolling there eyes. I’ve since found out that the British hooligans were the worst of all the soccer fans for causing trouble. We got dropped off near the stadium and we all walked about the last 300 yards. There were probably 10 police paddy wagons sitting in front of the stadium as we walked by, ready for action. There was a definite sense of excitement in the air as we walked up to the “Nosebleed” seats. They announced that there were 100,000 people in attendance. Words can’t describe the noise level when Messi was dribbling the ball around the opposing players. Personally, I’ve never been to sporting event that crazy, but in Europe, I guess this is the status quo. Quite an experience! So I guess there is one thing I can say.... There are not many people in the USA who can say they saw Messi play live in Barcelona stadium!!! For that I’m grateful!

So many funny things today... We went to a Chinese restaurant in St. Louis’s version of Chinatown, in Olivette. The restaurant is called “Private Kitchen” they only have 2 tables inside and the food is ordered ahead and served when you get there. I thought it was funny that they messed up their name on the Chop stick holders.😂 The other funny thing was their desserts. Looks like a plant, but the dirt is made of crumbled up Oreo cookies! 😂

Volume was so crazy yesterday morning, I couldn’t even log in at Ameritrade. Took me like 30 minutes and 6-7 attempts.

Before I made my own, I loved to use those Yamamoto fat baby craw as a trailer to my Hair jigs, or an Eakins finesse jig. It’s hard to find a good craw that’s only 2” long

Great Story! Believe it or not, I have a story that I took to heart from my dad, as a child in rural Arkansas in the late 1920’s. When my dad was 8 years old, he noticed a Kestrel living in their Martin house. He had decided he was going to catch it. The pole for the Martin house was wedged up against an old rickety fence. Every time he tried to sneak up and climb the fence, it would squeak and crackle and the hawk would fly away. One day, after a one foot deep overnight snow. He slowly climbed up the fence, the squeaking was dampened by the snow as he slowly crept up and covered the hole. He reached in and grabbed it. As he went back to the house he clutched it against his chest and the Kestrel drew blood on his chest. He and his brothers made a make shift cage for it and believe it or not, they took it to the post office and sent it to the Memphis zoo. A few weeks later the zoo sent him a letter thanking him. I believe in my heart that someone probably released it and the zoo sent him a letter just to make a kid feel good...but it was a good story for me as a child.

During your temporary post vaccine resting phase, if you’re in need of assistance in the form of carefully and gently scraping your Blackstone after use...look no further. 😂
