    I will be buying a coosa in a month or so, gotta save my pennies up. I fished out of a ascend fs12 for a couple years and for the price it is a good kayak, but there are much better options.

    I just sold my jetboat(1448 lowe) that I loved. it was plenty big enough for two people to fish and would run plenty shallow. I would buy a blazer in a heartbeat.

    trouthog, I traded this boat from the owners of riley's station in january. JS boats are all they use. Two years ago the owners of river sled had their mold for sale on craigslist. the reason you couldnt get ahold of JS is because the owner got hooked on meth. sadly I have not had this boat in the water yet(although I hope to this weekend). Just now a father and son from somewhere in IL left with my 9.9. they bought it for my asking price of $750. not bad considering 4 years ago I bought it for $600.

    I know for certain that everyone that fly fishes NFoW wants the dawt mill dam to be there for eternity. stripers decimate the trout population when they get above the dam.

    or just take a yeti and keep whatever you want cold.

    I have a buffalo canoe and a 65qt yeti fits perfect between front and rear seats. in fact it fit good enough that when me and two buddies got drunk and flipped the canoe the cooler stayed put.

    With norfork being as low as it is I dont know how good the white bass spawn will be. the creeks they usually go up to spawn are almost dry.

    you would have to be insane to run the white in a bass boat with the way the water has been. I have never fished above sportsmans lodge, and this winter I want to try fishing around white hole.

    I personally wouldnt use oak, far too heavy. cypress would be my wood of choice if not going with plywood.
