My home water is beaver, even though I can never catch fish consistently there. I get lost in big water so I tend to stick to the tributaries and othe small lakes around, like Fayetteville, Sequoyah, Bob Kidd, and Wilson. Great idea to see where the populace fishes.

Gotta Say They Almost ALL are Home Waters to us. We are truly blessed to live within 2-3 hours of all these, and regularly fish them. (With 4 boats we can cover pretty much any situation . Take them all combined, and we have truly some of the finest freshwater fishing on the planet (And we've been ALL OVER this planet). The Fishing is just one of the reasons we call The Ozarks Home.

I live in the Kansas City area all 60 + years I have fish Table Rock, Bull Shoals, Tanneycomo,

Beaver and others in Texas, Oklahoma and just about all over Canada. My Dad and built a house for him and Mom to retire to. They are both gone now and the house has sold. I still consider TABLE ROCK as my home lake. I pass closer lakes just to get to Table Rock.

Trout pond at the KC Sports Show.

I love that!  Years ago there was a place on the strip in Branson that had an above ground swimming pool filled with trout.  They charged to either catch and keep or CNR.  My wife and kids loved that place.  Slinging trout out of that pool after a few beers was awesome.  Man I miss that.
