My mistake Drew

Not referring to you here but when posting I knew this wouldn't be a popular thread and I would get attacked for it, but it had to be said. What cracks me up is that a person with an opposing viewpoint can't state that opinion without some people getting personal and calling names. Those young guys need to take lessons from Eric and Cricket. The fact is my opinion hasn't changed but Phil and I are OK.

Speaking of White bass, I posted a couple of weeks ago I went 8 miles north of Mt.Ida, Arkansas and caught a bunch of females on the Ouachita river. All 2 pounds and above. The easiest fishing a person can ever do.

I see an old friend, Trav, has showed back up on the forum. I was looking around his profile and happened to stumble upon this old thread.

As I read the highlighted, underlined sentence, I couldn't help but think about a post from Ol Mitch himself to me just the other day. And then another from the east coast posse compared me to a fence post.

An interesting read non the less.

12 pages and not a single mention of what is the best color tube or mono vs, braid vs fluro  ?

what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends

I might be the least educated person on this forum  Also struggle with my though and getting them down in writing at my age. i will make my position clear here.

i am neither liberal or conservative. I voted twice for Obama.  I thought that he had some directions we need to be going. Of course I do not agree with everything he done. But I do not disagree with everything he done based on his color. Like it is clear many on this forum do.

As far as Phil goes I have never met him. And do not care if I ever do.  I think he is a bussiness men number 1. That is the reason he made this forum. I can understand his desire to keep the forum pure. Those are commendable things.   As far as th forum goes I think its bad for your wallet because on a whole your a gullible bunch. That is what it is designed to do, As far as Phil goes I have not looked him in the eyes and had a good conversation with him. I do not think much if his trout tournament stuff either. I pay taxes to stiock those trout in there for peoole to enjoy. There is something wrong with having trout tournments. I believe he is a religious person who is following his christian beliefs as they are taught to him.

if it was not for bored I amsure I would have made my last post long ago.

There's a lot of old names/friends in this thread... and aren't here anymore.

Being a liberal, I don't feel like Phil sees eye to eye with me.

I do feel like he respects me.

When the occasional topic gets off the rail and goes political, Phil does one of the finest jobs on the Internet of letting people share their opinions respectfully.

Having said that, why don't we all let this thread die. I'm not going to change any conservative minds. Fox News and Briebart isn't going to change my mind, so let's all just go change hooks on crankbaits or tie flies or something.
