It's always a crap shoot as to whether a heat wave hits when you have something like this scheduled...as we can see right now, because you wouldn't think we'd be having upper 90s in early June. Personally, I don't mind the heat as long as I'm smart about it. That means taking the time to jump out of the boat or canoe and into the water frequently, and drinking lots of cold beverages and water. When I started paying attention to stuff like that, it was amazing how much less tired I was at the end of the day, because the heat can really take it out of you.

Let's do it. Boiling Spring campground sounds perfect for the location if we're going to fish the Gasconade. If we were going to cater a bit more toward the canoe and kayak guys, though, we could do it on the lower Big Piney at Laz-Y-Days campground. The owner is a friend and a great guy.

I am down for it. Don't know how much fishing I would do but I will partake in the cold beverages.

We floated NFoW yesterday for the first time this year and it was perfect.

Temp was in the 90s and the water was up, I had to lay down in the yak to make itunder Patrick bridge

Heat during the day doesn't bother me but this city boy grew up on AC, and I need my beauty rest.
