ColdWaterFshr Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Had to drive to Cabool on bidness yesterday. Made a point to pack the rod and waders. On the way back, I hit the LP after accidentally missing the turnoff for the Current while talking to my boss. Was kinda mad about it, but kept driving back north toward Rolla because I was losing daylight and wanted to be home in time for the game. So I fished near Lane Spring for a couple hours and let me tell you -- the weather was a bit raw but the river GAVE IT UP. Caught a couple dozen fish at will including this 17-18 inch wild beauty. My opinion, but the LP could be Missouri's most under-rated trout water.
MaxDrown Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Nice fish. Thanks for the report. -- Max Drown

ness Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 That's a beautiful fish buddy. Did you put the priest to his head or toss him back? John
Trout Commander Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I don't believe that. You had business in Cabool? Nice fish. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
