Gavin Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 P. Diddy's Kung Foo is da best! Enjoyed the vid, thanks for posting that up.
ColdWaterFshr Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 I'm the David Carradine of kayaking curvature. No, scratch that. I'm the Bruce Lee of all personal watercraft. I've done for spinnerbait fishing what John Deere did for farming.
Trout Commander Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 bring your tarpon, we can run it next week. after the rain sunday the water level should be optimal for, what did you call it? class 2? the guy in the green kayak is a 20 year class V whitewater veteran, he's paddled all over the world, he's the al agnew of MWA. When we got to the take out his exact words, "I never thought you'd make it through most of that, really impressive boat." that's enough of a stamp of approval for me, as if olympian eric jackson's name on the front of the boat wasn't enough. I will be perfectly honest, I swam twice. Both times were on my fault and weren't anything more than what someone would encounter on any ozark stream. I got lazy the first time, stopped paddling which is not what you want to do when going through a drop or current feature. Second time I picked a really dumb line past some submerged rocks and ran up on the rock, dipping the rear tank well into some current. Videos on are my youtube channel. Throw up the vid of the 4 ft drop! For those of us that are too lazy to go find it. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. ollie Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Meh. Nice boat but I don't need one that bad. No offense I know that river can rage, but I truely didn't see anything there that couldn't be run with any yak. Just say'in. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Smalliebigs Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Oh yea... I'm hating. LOL...... my point was as soon as anyone claims a product is good on this forum......you will have blow hard, wanabes who sit vicariously behind there keyboards tearing it down. Hey, this forum is what it is. Don't worry Wayne I will be out on the St.Francis real soon as well as many other streams on my Coosa.
ColdWaterFshr Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 I'm the Buzz Alrdrin of the St. Francis. And when I'm riding class 8 rapids and 12 foot drops with ease in my Coosa, I'm more like Luke Frickin Skywalker. There is even a little porthole in the back of my Coosa for me to fit R2D2.
