I hear ya Ham. Wayne was an all around good guy and fun to fish with. Very knowledgeable as well.

I'm pretty sure the last day he fished was with me & the MFU crew, up here chasing White bass.    He was a genuine trooper. 🤗

Wayne used Yamamoto grubs. I commented that I liked them, but the tail was too fragile. He said that he didn’t replace them when the tail gotten torn up. He just fished them slower along the bottom. In retrospect, he was fishing a Ned rig way before the rest of us.

Wayne was the best. I didn’t get to spend a bunch of time on the water with him, but he was a great friend to have when my dad was going through his battle with cancer. Wayne had the same type and pretty much the same treatment. He kept me going through all that.
