That is awsome birdwatcher.......that old dude is the man. I'm sure the anti gun zealots will say he could have killed someone when firing at the armed robbers.

I say bravo to the old dude and I wish I could buy you a steak dinner and a beer. I know it can be hard to lead those thugs when they are scrambling like that with a short barrle.

380 is a worthless caliber, but it must have left a blood trail. Someone had to check into the ER to pull the bullets out from under his skin...

Nothing smaller than a 380 long for me, 9mm full caliber. The 9mm short had never impressed me ballistically, even with new modern loads.

That is the glory of CCW, and what all future criminals will have to account for. One citizen that has the capability to prevent him from carrying out his crimes. Makes some think twice. Crime rates go down. It is a win, win situation.

Gotta love Archie Bunker.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of hearing of all these horrible shootings. Difficult to say if tougher gun laws would've prevented this latest tragedy in Colorado, probably not. . . but its time SOMETHING was done, just not sure what.

Its just way too easy to buy guns of any kind.

If you gotta license and get emissions and safety inspections for your CAR every dam year, why the heck not with firearms? I know, I know . . . criminals will still have the guns illegally no matter what. But it shouldn't be as easy to buy guns and ammo as it is a loaf of bread.

That's just it. IMO, it's a slippery slope once you start legislating the second ammendment, and all you are going to do is keep honest people honest. I guarantee you, if a criminal is a criminal, they won't care if they went through the legal process properly to own one or not. Look at Mexico. Private citizens have to declare and register their guns just like you are talking about, but we all see the news stories out of Mexico. It doesn't seem to keep the criminal element from obtaining them.

Mexican government is highly corrupt though and couldn't organize a bake sale.

Criminals are always going to get whatever they want . . . I get that. We just shouldn't make it easy for them, like buying roadside peaches. Go to a gun show and buy whatever you want, full auto, sure, you want it you got it.

You get caught with a gun and your license to have it isn't current, it gets confiscated, plain and simple. Want ammo, show a current license. There needs to be a process. It doesn't have to be a major hassle to own a gun, but jesus . . .

Looks like one of the sheep just lit up an Aurora Colorado movie theater...possibly in drag as the Joker. 50 casualties, 12 dead. Looks like another version of the shooting of the Democratic congresswoman and Republican judge and the kids and people who got blasted in Arizona last year.

AR-15 semi-automatic this time.

It will be interesting to see how someone this sick got his peaches.

Doesn't that make him a wolf?

There is no limit to what a man can do or how far he can go if he doesn't mind who gets the credit

He might consider himself to be either one. We'll have to wait and see.

Interesting none of those armed sheep took him down. Concealed carry is incredibly popular in CO. Maybe the kevlar scared them off?
