I was ask to ban the A-Rig in the USA Bassin tournaments. I want to hear from you the fishermen on what you think!!!

It really hasnt been a huge advantage this year, a good ole fashioned jerk bait is catching just as many fish this year in my opinion. Last year was a different story. And if everyone in the tourney can use it i dont see why it should be banned.

Wayne, Look back at some of the post from last year it was hammered pretty hard on that topic, Bottom line is the thing was effective last year and this year not so much, I think if anything it proves fish learn and adapt to means of catching them.

Here's an idea not sure how easy it'd be for you to do. Make a little questionaire about the a-rig mail it with a schedule and ask the anglers who support your circut what they want, send it to all who fished with you the last year or two. Make your desicion based off some evidence cause either choice you make will make a % of the field upset. I use the rig some and I think the sport we play is better without it one rod one lure one line.

They seem to be very effective, but so is the plastic worm. Given the fact that anyone can use them without any special physical or equipment advantage, banning a lure would seem to be opening a can of worms, no pun intended. If you ban one legal lure, what's next?

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

I had a lot of opinions by e-mail and phone calls. I just wanted some information how fishermen felt towards this bait. I had a phone meeting with USA Bassin Corp. over an hour. This is want I wanted to determine my decision. I'm going to allow the A-rig to be used in the USA Bassin circuits until Missouri state law tells me different.

I think you should ban people who want to ban things

next thing you know they will want outlaw crank telephones and dupont spinners....
