I'm not knocking their walleye program, but now that it is well established I want some of that money and revenue used for Hybrids in BS.

Oh, and that's good info Mic, good post.

Mike you don't need to have a biology degree to have an opinion of how the MDC impliments and enforces regulations. I would be a little more if they had a stocking program in the Meramec or the St.Francis where the Ozark Walleye used to roam.......check that still do where i fish.

There is a stocking program on the St Francis.

Mic,

How dare you confuse the issue with the facts! :secret-laugh: I love uninformed ranting and raving, especially if I'm the one guilty of it.

Having an opinion is OK. Calling them idiots and wasteful when you haven't taken the time to ask is not. Come on Smallie, your a small buisness owner, you know decisions made based on complicated issues can not always look right from the outside of the window... so to speak.

I understand the MDC's priorities have to be based on what's best for the state as a whole. I happen to know ( based on recent phone conversations with the MDC) that illegal gigging is way down the priority list. If someone poached ten big whitetail bucks there would be hell to pay. 100 gigged 20" smallmouth is small potatoes and not worthy of action.

Rest assured, there are far more than "10 big whitetails" killed every year in this state. Poached game is big bussiness. Poached smallmouth.....not so much.

That is not what you said Hannity. You claim there is no poaching of whitetails. But that if as little as ten of them were to be poached then all the resources at the disposal of the MDC would reign down on the accoused.

What I said was that you are fool if you think big bucks are not being poached.

I'm assuming all you Walleye fans realize they are proven Bass predators ? Of course, they do taste a lot better too. {wink}
