Theft At Cooper Creek Boat Ramp Parking Lot

Well, this is my second go around this year with someone stealing my hubs off my trailer at Cooper Creek.

Hope they needed them more than I did.

Happened yesterday during my full day taneycomo trip.

This is the 3rd. time I have had my VAULT SYSTEM HUBS STOLEN.

That stinks, I always worry about coming back and finding my trailer gone or messed up. I've never heard of just hubs being stolen, but there must be somewhere they can get rid of them at.

Sounds like it's about time to take up arms, set up in the woods near your trailer and see if you can catch the scoundrels.

Thats why i have a Ranger Trail there hub system is so bad even the common criminal wont mess with them. Be fun to catch them a good a$#@#$@! whuppin will sometimes iniate a lifesyle change for some people

If you guys had crappier boats this wouldnt happen. Last year at Beaver creek ramp on BS they told me to make sure and check the nut on the ball before we pulled out because someone was going around taking the nuts off. That more like manslaughter not theft though

You know we guides are really easy targets, as our boats are at these public ramps 300 days a year. I have lost spare tires with SS wheels, "My fault for not locking them." Hubs, lug bolts, and every part conceiveable on a trailer. I've had my truck pounded with a ballpean hammer and my tires flattened by letting the air out. Not had a puncture or a valve stim cut, but everything else. Beck has been broke into and had his clients broken into. It is just the price of doing business.

This hub deal however is getting old. Pretty close to $600 out of pocket on them. They need to figure a way to lock them on the wheel. This is the best trailer bearing system on the market and the crooks know it.
