laker67 Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 This used to be an informative and fun web site, Now its all about "let me be the first to point out why you should not". People use to talk about fishing and joke around, but now I'm fearful to make a comment or post a picture.

People use to talk about fishing and joke around, but now I'm fearful to make a comment or post a picture. Yeah, me too. If you were to scrutinize me close enough you would almost always find something I'm doing wrong, my ex wife was an expert at that. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
Terrierman Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Yeah, me too. If you were to scrutinize me close enough you would almost always find something I'm doing wrong, my ex wife was an expert at that. I'm betting mine was every bit as good plus she had stamina.
Wayne SW/MO Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Most laws concerning glass on a river have to do with boats prone to tip. Given the fact drifters do class IV regularly and are not prone to tip, it's hard to get too excited about drinking a beer in one. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
fishinwrench Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Wrench that is about the dumbest thing you have ever said on this site. Before I posted that one, which one was in the lead? I am fully capable of spewing commonly accepted logic all day long......I just find it too boring to type myself. Besides, others usually have that angle covered ok.
bfishn Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 ...Tell me what a swimming in the whole who cuts there foot on broken glass knows about wearing proper footwear in a river... ?????? the mean heck what that does ?????? I can't dance like I used to.
id10t Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Wayne is the no glass law in MO different for drift boats? Can I drink my beer in glass bottle if I am in a drift boat or jet boat? I honestly don't know. The law in Arkansas is no glass containers period. Had a buddy get a ticket for a glass bottle of mayo which was secured in his cooler on the white river in a john boat and the warden took his mayo. Most laws concerning glass on a river have to do with boats prone to tip. Given the fact drifters do class IV regularly and are not prone to tip, it's hard to get too excited about drinking a beer in one.
id10t Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 ?????? the mean heck what that does ?????? Edited sorry. Tell me what a kid swimming in the whole who cuts their foot on broken glass knows about wearing proper footwear in a river.
bfishn Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 All clear now, thanks. I can't dance like I used to.
fishinwrench Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 .....as if you can't cut a foot on anything but broken glass.
