I figured thats what would happen which I know is bs, If they make contact with him over a complaint and he admits to how and where he took them, they have him. If he denies taking those fish by that method in this state then I understand they do not have enough.

There should be enough evidence to at the very least search his freezer. Betting that if he disregards 1 rule, he violates more. They could put a tail on him and when he heads to the river , watch his every move.

You'd also think they'd be able to do something when he turns that tag in with his name and location. We've given the MDC his name, so they should be able to keep an eye out for it. This clown might be dumb enough to tell him he speared it when he mails in the tag with all of the information.

Well, I just spoke with MDC and I hate to burst all of your bubbles but, they will not do a god darn thing about this clown. There is not enough evidence. this hurts and for all of you naïve people on this forum that say gigging doesn't occur or this sort of crap......well the next time you fish your favorite little stream and it seems like the fish are all gone.....now you have your answer. The slanted face and eyes of this clown are burnt into my memory, he will have hell to pay if I come across this piece of shiot out on a river....trust me on that.
