I don't anticipate any problems and it's never given me any other than a bearing that went bad, but I had that replaced recently. I need to re-grease that bearing and was hoping for some over-freezing temps so I could push any water out, but it was greased two trips ago so it shouldn't be a problem.

.

Are you talking about the impeller bearing? Shouldn't be an issue if you run some new grease thru, heck I even start mine up in the garage and let it run a few seconds.

Good luck you guys! Want to hear who gets big fish award!! :)

Somebody needs to call me or PM or something. The weather forecast for driving is not good but I do not quit on a forecast. Somehow I need to let you guys know in the AM if I am going to be there on time or if the roads are bad and I will be late or if really bad not make it. Right now it's not doing anything so I'm guessing I'll be there on time. But it's only 7:30 so who knows for sure.

Had a great day on the White River today, other than some tough conditions at times (snow, sleet, freezing rain), we had a banner day catching fish. I fished with Ham, whom which I've nicknamed the "Jig Master".. Together we caught well over 100 fish, Ham who kept count of his caught 66 himself. One my second cast of the day, I caught a nice Brown, didn't measure but close to 17 inches probably. Ham about middle way thought they day caught a dandy Brown the hit about 10 foot from the boat, It was around 19 inches! Had a great day fishing with Ham, he was great to teach me some tricks of the zig jig, this guy has this technique mastered, very impressed!! I didn't fair to bad myself, what a day!!

Muddy or Hoglaw can tell you more about there float with Phil, but I know they did great, and all I've heard hear at the cabin as we eat Muddy's smoked brisket, is Phil put on a clinic with the jig as well. I watched Phil land 2 fish within a minute when we were close together in the boats! I think they also managed a nice Brown as well!!

More pics to come, got several on my phone, (Hams big brown is on there).. I"ll post more when I get a chance and reception. Floating from Buffalo shoals to norfork in the morning!!

I have a GREAT time today. My finger tips got cold a time or two, but we all dressed well and I think wverybody was comfortable.

The bite was decent, but not outstanding. LRF is sand bagging. He did great with jig. I knew after his cast that he was gonna be just fine.

The road down to Rim Shoals was an iffy deal and I'm so glad Hoglaw has point and set a proper pace. Even in 4 low I was sliding down the hill at times.

Boat ramp was better, but still had some ice. ZERO sunshine, but minimal wind which was nice.

Richard Cross sent me some Zig Jig SWAG and some sample jigs. He wanted to make the trip, but had a business obligation. I really appreciate all the goodies. Got Muddy made an excellent brisket. Baked beans. Somebody had brought Slaw and Potato salad.

Quill back and Terrierman will fish with us tomorrow.

I look forward to LRF's catfish tomorrow.

Good flows, low wind, fish with fins and color, can't beat that. Thanks for the update.
