Ham Posted December 31, 2014 Author Posted December 31, 2014 Far more species than I had, but then, I did score a water dog. Very Nice RPS. That's not a fish, but cool anyway. I hope you were gentle with it. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Al Agnew Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Used to catch water dogs (or mud puppies) a lot when I fished for walleye with big live minnows in the winter. You could always tell you were getting bit by mud puppies, because they would invariably first bite the minnow right on the abdomen. You'd see a pair of crescent-shaped scrapes on either side of the belly when you'd try to set the hook and reel in your damaged minnow. But once in a while I'd actually hook one. Apparently they stay active in cold water.
Gavin Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 A few goals. Teach my 7 year old to fly cast well enough to catch fish this year and tie her own knots. Teach my 5 year old to cast and retrieve her spin cast with less input from Mom & Dad. 5 family float trips instead of 3 last year. That's it. Ham 1
