Champ188 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Next time I look all you Whimps will be fishing Table Rock with a 5wt. fly rod and a size 20 midge. Champ I didn't think that thumb looked all that bad. But one question? With those big Mitts, how in the world did you get that little thing tied on.? I bet my gal friend tied it on for you. And I'm with you, Denny calling anything "Big and Ugly" just is not right. You boys and girls need to fish more manly stuff like I do. OOOP's I forgot about the floater. "Never Mind." Dave thanks again for the care package. I will post pictures of my success. GULP! You are right, BB. Tough to handle that little stuff in my big hands and getting tougher the blinder I get. Actually, I might have asked your buddy to help except she was busy with other issues all her own. She'll have to tell you about her day. All I'm gonna say is I've never seen anyone blow up a Lew's Tournament Series twice in one day.

Hung up and was popping the line. The first time my thumb slipped and let 'er rip. The next time Champ was a witness to the fact that none of my digits were anywhere near the thumb bar. Popped the line and she opened up and made a big ol' nest. It's always a defect in the reel such as - poor design, or a manufacturing defect.
abkeenan Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I usually always just take my brother in the boat, not to have him enjoy fishing, but so I have a person to blame for my backlashes and missed fish.
Hojo Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Anybody been out the last couple of days? What's the water temp around Eagle Rock?
