Champ188 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Bigmo, two suggestions when you see them chasing the Wart like that ... 1. Slow it down. So many people unknowingly fish a Wart too fast. Truth is, you really can't fish one too slow in mid-40s water temps. I'm close friends with a guy who is widely considered the best in NW Arkansas with a Wart and he's known to add SuspenDots in really cold water in order to fish it slower. Like Dave Barker, he'll drag it with his rod, take up the slack, and repeat. 2. You might want to consider changing colors. Sometimes they will slap at or follow a bait when the color is not quite right, and once you figure out the right color, they'll hammer it. Just a couple of suggestions.
Bill Babler Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Don't be showing Alex all our River junk. He will come up there and give our bass a boat ride to Kimberling City. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Champ188 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Bill, we may have to put him on the banned list along with Denny.
Sore Thumbs Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Hey Champ. That guy you are referring to is about to come out with his own signature Wiggle Wart rod. I can't wait to get my hands in one of those.

Bill I really like the area down there but that is just to much of a boat ride for me. It takes just an hour to drive there by truck from where in at. May make a few trips down there this year but it's just a ways from where I'm at. Those fish are safe from a ride to K city
fishingaddiction Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Way to hammer em guys. Nice fish Alex, I am surprised QB left that one for you. Ha Ha Bye the way Bill, as tough as the catching has been in K city area we need some of those hungry river fish to be transplanted. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
Bill Babler Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 The way Quill and Skunkworks are cachin em I need to go with them.
