Rodmaker Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I've been a member of this forum for 4 years. I read it almost daily even though I'm not local. I have vacationed on the rock for 30 years. I've learned tons here. Thank you to all. How about we have a new rule, no dissing people, no religion and no politics and stick to fishing. Tight lines to all! Happy spring!

dtrs5kprs Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 OK, I have to ask..............What the heck is a ned rig. Midwest Finesse Rig, aka Ned Rig. Primary component of the ultra finesse system taught by Ned Kehde of In Fisherman. 1/32-1/8oz head with a small (#2 or so) hook, and 1/2 of an elaztech stick bait (zero or zinkerz). Lots of info on the forum about it, and videos on YouTube. Great way to catch them on the Rock.
motoman Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 dtrs5kprs, you're up! - Hahaha......that made me chuckle out loud champ!:-P - You forgot to mention Dave; fish it slow..........which I have to tell myself, even when i think I'm fishing it slow enough.......I'm not!
Quillback Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 dtrs5kprs, you're up! We really need a "Ned" topic forum where all the info can be stored and referenced.
Members tse90 Posted April 5, 2014 Members Posted April 5, 2014 Howdy boy's I've been watching this post since the first response. Me and my ol man fish those Sunday tounrys out of cape fair. I know we are average fishermen and I'll be the first one to say we got our butts kicked and I'm not hanging my head one bit that's why we love our lake. With that been said every single one of you guys have helped me learn and grow. We all love fishing and it's important to help grow the sport we love. Your post have help me take my son out and catch fish but also explain to him what and why rwe caught that fish. I know this is not only helping raise my kid but teaching him responsibilities beyond a tv or a game console. What im trying to say is let's all enjoy what this website has to offer get fishing reports and awesome people. Thank you guys for the time spend on the water and look forward to meeting some of you guys. I'm not a punctuation kinda guy so sorry lol.. cody Cody I'm in the same boat as you. I moved here not too long ago and have only been fishing here a year and fish the Cape Fair tournaments with my dad whenever we get the chance. I'm on here about everyday but don't really contribute much...which I probably should start doing considering I get to Table Rock at least 3 times a week now. But thanks to all the great posts on here for being so informative and specific about things. I'm sure without this board I'd have caught at least half the amount of fish I have by now.
dtrs5kprs Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 We really need a "Ned" topic forum where all the info can be stored and referenced. Or maybe a "sticky" anyway. Have all the various links handy when not on the tablet. tse... Post whatever you feel like sharing. Any info is good. Guaranteed someone else is probably dying to know your info.
