magicwormman Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I guess it's time for me to quit making plastic worms and start carving rats. Can you imagine fishing the North country and have a monster Musky take it away from you?
dtrs5kprs Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 for that price Ithink I will just go to the pet store and buy one and glue a pop stick in its mouth for the bill lol Just hurt myself reading this.
fishingaddiction Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 You have got to be kidding me! Next thing ya know they will make a 3 foot long cotton mouth snake wake bait, that sells for $ 300.00. Can't wait to monitor TW website on this lure to see if anyone post a review. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
Old plug Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Like a lot of other stuff its main purpose is to catch fishermen. I own one expensive lure the Spro BB1. I have not taken it out on the lake bass fishing and will not till after the spawn. That is the period I bought it for anyway. But I have spent a few hours practicing with it trying to find out what it is capable of and to get the feel of it to know what its doing when I cannot see what it is doing. I expect it to do very well when I start using it. I know when I was young I thought i needed this and that and the other thing. Now I know all I need is the thing I truly understand.
96 CHAMP Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I'll take 2, guess i will be sleeping in a tent next time down instead of a cabin
bluebasser86 Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 You can get much more expensive rat baits, like a Nezumma XL. Those will set you back at least $200 unless you find a good price on a used one. That bait would catch fish on Table Rock no doubt, and probably a lot more than most would think. I've never invested in a rat bait because I feel like I get pretty much the same thing with the MS Slammers, and I can say for sure that they catch fish on Table Rock Fishing those big baits isn't for everyone for sure, but anyone that's interested that hasn't tried it yet should check out the Southern Trout Eaters DVD. They fished the 12" Slammer and had no problems getting fish to come off bluff walls and slam the things.
