drew03cmc Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 If you had read my very first question let me make it again very clear for you I would not have come back with my knowledge of weapons! Instead you just have to be an butt and not simply give an answer like ( No FNF I was just asking he only had the pistol ) But instead you cannot just answer a simple question. I even went on in my last post to state the only weapon mentioned was a Pistol! That is the reasoning behind the first question and to why I was wondering about your conversation about an Automatic M4. Had you read, your entire response wouldn't have been necessary. No Smally, politics, while fun for an outsider, not for me. I love to observe, but being involved isn't something that would interest me. Also, a Democrat in Kansas? I'd have a better chance of convincing these folks that the earth was flat. Andy
Feathers and Fins Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I am sorry I did not go back to read the entire thread, you said Why does a "Crocker" need access to a automatic M4? A simple response would have gone a long way not everyone wants to go back and re-read the entire thread or all the press releases to find out if he had one. You asked why he needed and AutomaticM4 Specifically used his name. I asked if I missed something pretty simple question to answer I would think. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
bfishn Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 ...I'd have a better chance of convincing these folks that the earth was flat. I disagree, given the fair number that either already think that or are willing to be led that way. Should be an easy sell. :-) I can't dance like I used to.

jdmidwest Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 But yet there isn't a state where you cannot own a firearm as you were eluding too. Sure there is. Lots of states that restrict what gun you can own. jdmidwest Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Okay, let me get this straight, you are upset about lead ammo being restricted and don't feel that automatic weapons should be restricted in their availability and possession? Lead ammo has been proven to be detrimental to certain waterfowl, while automatic weapons serve no purpose to the civilian. I was not upset about it, and it was lead in rifle and handgun ammo. The lead was getting into the buzzards when the eat the crippled carcasses. But until they come up with a better alternative to lead bullets, why ban them? Cars that are capable of going over the speed limit are sold every day, but no civilian needs to go over the speed limit. Why not put governers on cars to limit them to the speed limit? As long as automatic weapons are used responsibly, why not own one? Automatic weapons are restricted, you have to pay a high tax to own one. And, like the lead ammo, I am not upset, I live in a state where I can get one if I want one. I can shoot lead bullets all day if I want to. Old plug Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 It is very easy to get a CCW license. In some towns and counties if your know they just sign off on you. Myself I think carrying it around unconcealed is nothing more than wanting to feel like some gunslinger out of the old west.
Gavin Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 There are always a couple weapons loaded and ready in the house. In the safe, oneTrigger locked always with no round in the chamber due to the kids. Never have needed one. Our dogs make enough noise to alert us and discourage the uninvited. The dogs are useless but better company.
Old plug Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I no longer have a dog any more to bark at hight at,but I do have a lot of gas. Its beyond me who would want to come in here to begin with.
LarrySTL Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Wow... peeing is bad ? umm......so if I am all fulla caffeine and 120 miles from home. Hmmmm...... While you were all debating who to kill and how, on my way home from Jeff City on Thursday I stopped, fully armed with my pocketknife, at a small river I hadnt ever fished. Now that clue will limit some of you to about 25 rivers and will restrict Gavin and Smalliebigs to about 10 or 15 possible rivers....anyhow... I digress. I parked, I got out, I walked over between the passenger side of the car and the bushes, and I peed in the bushes, but nobody shot me. I walked down to the river and tied on a Dolphin (no matter how much I hate to admit it) and caught a giant huge 12 " SM on my second cast. I walked/waded about a half mile upstream, saw no floaters, no locals with guns, nobody no how. However, I then had to pee some more, so, being in the river and being in swim trunks that were already wet.....I did. I resisted the temptation to poke around with a itty bitty piece of Zworm, and I threw the dolphin, my beloved 1/4 oz spook, and a 1/2 oz spook. Fished about 90 minutes and got back to the car as it was starting to get dark. Score 2 so-what size SM on the Dolphin....Scott the next TW order is gonna be your fault.....2 midgit SM on the 1/4 oz spook...one sunfish with lots of orange and blue coloring but noticably smaller than the 1/2 oz spook on the 1/2 oz spook. Back at the car as it was getting dark, and as I was getting the big clunky boots off, a local drove by, stopped, asked if I had car trouble. I said "nope..I was fishing..but thanks". He said "OK, just checking" and drove off without trying to kill me. Bout halfway home, at a gas station on the interstate, I peed once more and then bought and ate a Snickers bar. You may now, if you wish, resume the previous hostilities. http://intervenehere.com
