Gavin Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 And the concision is...keep your candy in the water fish will eat it;).
joeD Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Why do we always think any success or lack of success is equipment or technique related? Fish will hit or not. Has nothing to do with us. Or the manufacturers of our equipment we use. ,
Old plug Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I usually do not agree with you Joe but this is the second time on this thread. Lot of these guys are looking for some sort of magic. A lot of them have families to support. And important positions that others depend on. So it is off to work they go. They do not have the time to really deal with things like presentation, balance tackle and so many other things that come with fishing. Really ,I am proud of them doing that and putting their priorities in the proper order. Some of us have not always done that.

Like I'm gonna believe some random, anonymous internet dude when I have thousands of hours of fishing shows, made by real live pros with video cameras, that demonstrate the opposite. John
RSBreth Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I'm still with the high-vis superline/fluoro leader camp. Because it works, and because it makes some folks on here scratch their head wondering why.
Hog Wally Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Cajun red! Easy to find Easy to change. Cheap. I'm almost sick of all the choices. 14 lb test for the meramec 10 lb on my spinning reels. Nothing fancy for me. I have tried a lot of stuff, and fish with a lot of guys with fancy stuff. Mitch has mastered the baitcaster for sure. Okay so I admit in probably gonna buy some yozuri, but I will try it on my old curado. She is very forgiving with new line.

I use nothing but Pro Bass Excel except a touch of fire line for crappie sometimes.
