I for one have been enjoying reading about your trapping adventure. It is great you are bonding with your toddler too.

This thread has been fun to follow for me.

I tried the hot dog on a stick last night.

Honestly, I just knew I got that big coon.

Nothing touched it,

So, its back to catfood & karo syrup

I am not bashing you I just telling you a truth. If you kept garbage out of the yard you would not have as many critter problems.

I've never been into trapping but I ran with a bunch of guys that were, and I can't ever remember anyone mentioning catching a skunk in one.....although I'm sure it does happen.

As many as I see dead on the roads I'm blown away by the fact that I never see them in the woods. I really don't even know much at all about their habits other than they suck at crossing ribbons of asphalt.

Skunks are nocturnal. About the only time you will see them out in the light is early in the morning or late in the evening. They will come out in the daylight, but not much. They seem to inhabit pastures and open ground, rarely do they live in timber. They sleep in dens under buildings or trees. They will use the dens of other animals like ground hogs.

I call that bashing when you say its the worst attempt you've ever seen.

I live in the country & keep the garbage on the road in a can. Rarely does it stay outside overnight near the porch.

I have watched this whole thread and to me your either shooting bull are your the worse varmint trapper I ever heard of.

Yeah I know you say you trapped a 35 lb raccoon . I want to see a picture of it. I know what a coon that weighed about 30 lbs looked like that one was shot. in a swamps in southern Ga. coon that size could not get his head in your traps.

You do not impress me with any of your trapping pictures. If you do not like what I said report it to Lilly.
