You just have to be careful what you ask for Dave. Its like an ongoing thing with lots of sidetracking. Some good entertainment here. And since we are on the subject, fishing was great again today. An even lighter crowd than friday and much warmer. Caught several trout, then moved to zone 3 for some play time with the smallmouth and goggle eye. Took some pictures that I am going to post on th e goggle eye thread. Also I found out some more info on the zone three boundaries. Winter c and r used to be whistle bridge to the wooden bridge until Mike Mitchell took the helm at the hatchery. He was the one who opened up that 40 yard section some time after 04. So there we go.

I was very disappointed with my first and only trip to BSSP in the winter. Not many fish and too many fishermen. The guy selling trout stamps said they stocked no fish since the No Creel started. Saw guys throwing crank baits and spinner baits in Zone 3 for smallmouth, I did not think it was legal but not really hurt anything they were throwing them back.

According to the regs, "no" fish can be creeled during c and r. Cranks probably would not fall into the flies only regulation, even with a single point hook.
