That is cool. I used to catch a lot of nice sized shad off the dam face at Milford in Kansas while white bass fishing after dark. The big ones had no problem eating a 1/8 ounce three inch jig or a streamer fly. Congrats on unforeseen trophy.

Still, a really cool moment in the sun. I'd love to have a record anything, even if it's some obscure salt water line class deal. I saw a show once where they were all hyped up about breaking four or five igfa line class records in one trip. Kinda takes the cool off of it.
