Red Fin & Bomber Long A

Admittedly I saw the rat bait on Charlie Ingram's show, but they were catching spots with it. Might have been down in AL. Certainly has the right action.

The crazy bee is the bait that inspired my balsa project a few years ago.

Anybody want to trade for the right bait?

I've got spy baits NIB, Ned rigs, robo worms, Alabama rigs, pre Rapala wiggle warts

PM if you wanna trade. (I can repaint your beaters as well)

I was watching that Oklahoma MLF wrap-up show yesterday, they had some good shots of smallmouth blowing up on the Redfin. I am looking forward to the warm water fishing.

That spot looks familiar? Is that the cove between Schooner and Gobbler's Mountain?

Saw you have the Diet Dew handy!

Yep. We were catching them on various wake baits there back in 2013 and tried to get video of one smacking that bait. Really need a GoPro for that, something you can just leave on.

MLF = Major League Fishing. It's on The Outdoor Channel at various times. You can also look at their website at:

What is all the MLF you all are watching?

Nice post Dave. That bait wiggles nice.

They had some pretty nice redfin footage from the Tenkiller event that Scott Suggs won, then some Long A fish up in Maine. Ott DeFoe I think, but might be wrong on that.

Is there some podcast or somewhere I can view that Redfin action?

Might check your on demand channels, if you have them. It was one of the select rounds. They replay them fairly often on the outdoor channel. Otherwise I think you would need to subscribe to MLFs web coverage. Starting to think it might be worth it. They did a "lessons" show, basically a long, on the water version of the old pro's pointers segment. Pretty good stuff.
