The bowl of veggies look good, can't quite come to terms with quiche, although everything in it sounds good.

You know I think it is in the name. I had a hard time the same as you until we started fixing them. I know you eat what goes into this separately or in various dishes. just in this instance it is in a pie crust ,

Oh I know it's just the name and in my head.  Growing up I had a poster that said "real men don't eat quiche".  Thank goodness it didn't say "real men don't eat steak".

Had a little fun this weekend hocking my wares.

Sold some BBQ in my home town Friday night. I hadn't ever done this before, but had always toyed with the idea. I had a blast and made a little money. Have been asked to return next month! I think I'm going to do it!

Should change the name to "Deep Dish Egg casserole" - sounds more manly.

I run into this yahoo at a truck stop about a year ago. He had it in the back of his pickup and asked if I wanted it. Said he hadn't used in years and was looking for somebody to take off his hands so his wife couldn't get it in the divorce.

Had a ton of fun but it was a ton of work too! By the time we agreed to do it, we had a week to get our crap together! We made it!

The menu was chicken quarter, pulled pork, smoked Bologna with beans and tater salad with a drink.

Think im going to add pulled pork nacho's on the next go round.
