Fish24/7 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 another batch of beef jerky last night , used a different seasoning this time with more black pepper and ground red pepper flakes. Last batch was missing the heat😄 Thursday made from scratch walnut dark chocolate brownies in the Dutch oven outside . Friday did a whole chicken in the oven, no big deal. Saturday was cabbage and link sausage with a baked potato. Spaghetti tonight 😋 Chief Grey Bear and MOPanfisher 2

So it was sided with fried cheese with smoked cheddar cheese. Steamed carrots too. Go KC Chiefs! I agree about the white bass and hybrids. BilletHead 1
rps Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 I made a stuffing of chopped fresh cranberries, bacon, onion, rosemary and brown sugar. I used it to stuff a pork tenderloin. Right now it is in the sous vide bath at 135. Pictures later.

Johnsfolly Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Kind of a monochromatic meal. I split a butternut squash and cooked to get some carmalization on the flesh side. Dusted the surface with Asian 5 spice. In the bowl I mixed in coconut milk and fresh lime juice. Put the squash in a 350 deg oven fro about 50 minutes until soft. Browned up some chicken thighs pieces in a little coconut oil. Once browned I tossed in slices from half of a yellow onion. Once onion was cooked I added store bought Tikka Marsala simmering sauce. Served on top of basmati rice. Tasted great. MOPanfisher and rps 2
rps Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 The finished product looked exactly like what I had envisioned. The stuffing was great. The pork was dry and not what I had hoped. I set the sous vide for 135 and used a 525 oven to try and brown the exterior. I was trying not to call the fire department. What I should have done was put more bacon in the stuffing, set the sous vide for 130, and pan seared the exterior. I also think a meat marinade would have helped. ness, MOPanfisher, BilletHead and 1 other 4
