rps Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 The beautiful wife and I fed ourselves and six others. No one went home hungry. In all honesty, I would love to gather and share as this more than once a year. In some cultures, in times past, that happened. BilletHead 1
Ketchup Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 Had 2 hours today after helping the Mrs. get the Christmas decor out of the shop, so launched at Ruark on Stockton. Hadn’t been on that side in over 2 years. Caught a nice 20” walleye, so made it tonights dinner for her. Paired it with salad with some Southwest Ranch and rice. Simple and quick. Since I’m not a fish eater, i had my rice and salad with a Taco Bell burrito from 6 days ago. 😁 Quillback, ColdWaterFshr, rps and 2 others 5 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. Flysmallie Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 I wish I would have purchased a pellet grill/smoker years ago. Our thanksgiving wasn’t until today and that’s the easiest it’s ever been. And I had the most compliments on the meat. Some people say it’s cheating, but my 10 year old Monopoly playing self would have told you, cheating is how you win! I love the data it gives. It pointless really but still fun. bfishn, BilletHead, Terrierman and 3 others 6

Chief Grey Bear Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Hey, long time no see. Thought I’d share with you kids a green bean casserole I made with a homemade mushroom cream sauce. And I though you couldn’t improve on the old standard cream of mushroom soup version. I stand corrected! rps Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Last night's cheesy corn chowder. (Note - it would look better if I had used the orange cheddar.) BilletHead 1
rps Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 After Thanksgiving, my wife made several comments. Some of those concerned the meal. Next year she wants cornbread dressing, more queso, and what was I going to do with the turkey tenders. You can't leave an unsatisfied wife running around. She will only think of things for you to do. Turkey tenders, cornbread dressing, and a new batch of queso.
