ness Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 There used to be a great restaurant in Newburg, MO, right on I 44, called Cooking From Scratch. I always made it a point to stop there when in the area. They had 'Chicken and Dumplins' (no g) on the menu once, so I ordered it...with the g. And the waitress corrected me and said it was dumplins. MOPanfisher Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Retirement and crappie weather has left me with some time on my hands so I made a bat h of Honey Wheat bread ( 2 loaves ready to go in oven) and a pot of modified cabbage soup. The recipe (guide) was for a diet type vegetarian soup, but add some sausage and jowl meat and it does smell good. ness, nomolites, rps and 1 other 4
