My wife is Chinese, her whole family only uses jasmine rice and cooks with a rice cooker… Just saying. I'll ask her about this other type of rice

Jasmine and rice cookers are great! I use basmati (indian rather than asian) because I can buy it in 20 pound sacks far more cheaply. It has a very long grain, holds its texture really well, and I learned about it from a great book (http://www.amazon.com/Frank-Stitts-Southern-Table-Stitt/dp/1579652468). I don't own a rice cooker and the method I described is how I work around that.

      Today was fried day:).

Half of a young wild turkey breast cut across the grain in slices double dipped in Louisiana spicy chicken fry mix. Young hen of the woods mushroom chunked up and same breading as turkey. Fresh garden peppers grilled and coleslaw. Some ranch dressing for dipping. A cold one for beverage,

    Ohh yea Chief. Looks tasty,

Ok now we are talking s'mores . A little different than plain chocolate ones.Ingredients for todays little treat.

Yes chocolate but dark chocolate with fillings. Sea salt caramel and raspberry fillings. So many variations out there. Have done some with peanut butter cups also but I think these today were the best,

Huge Dark Chocolate fan! In fact I really don't care much for Milk Chocolate.

If you have an Aldi's near by, the have a dark chocolate imported from Germany that is one of the best!
