We just sprinkle powdered sugar on top and call it good. 4 hours ago, rps said: I do not know if this link will work for you. https://www.cookscountry.com/recipes/2832-wacky-cake Wasn't able to view the recipe but the description sounds exactly like what she made. No eggs, milk or butter. Oil for fat and baking soda and vinegar for leavening. We both thought it would be good with just powdered sugar. rps 1
rps Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 The staff here has become desperate to find things for residents to do without getting near one another. One idea they had was to use a set box of cheese board ingredients for the participants to plate in their own way. A lady here in town chooses the ingredients and makes an example on youtube. As you might imagine, it is like watching a Mary Kay representative do food. Despite my misgivings I signed up to participate. I figured it was a great source of meats and cheeses. Here is my first attempt. MOPanfisher and Terrierman 2
Terrierman Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 Fried potatoes and onions. Ketchup and Siraricha. Fried bologna sandwich with stella blue, onion slices and yellow mustard on sourdough texas toast. Two flavor bombs, and so health foodie. Oh. And a Miller Lite. Deadstream 1
