I'm cooking old school St. Louis style salsiccia sandwich tonight.  The sausage is on the grill and the onion, red bell pepper and fresh garlic are ready in the saute' pan.  Some marinara - Prego = actually surprisingly good - and what passes for dago bread here in hillbilly country.  Sadly, the bakers here don't know how to do chewy bread with a tough but still right crust.  I'll get by somehow though.

Hey fellas! Remember me??

I did this the other day and wanted to share with you.

I have heard about these for years!!
And today, I finally had one!
I always thought that it would never match the quality of a fine grilled T-Bone. And they don't.
But they are a better quality and flavor than I anticipated. And they are still a value.
The Waffle House 10oz  T-Bone steak dinner.
Complete with choice of hashbrowns, house salad and Texas Toast all for just $11.50.
We had the whole place to ourselves.
Yep, dining at its almost finest!

When I go to Waffle House I always get a waffle well done and two over easy eggs to top it with.  Their food is not that bad.  How do you mess up a waffle and a couple of eggs anyway??But I swear, I have yet to see a Waffle House waitress with a full set of teeth.

Good to see you posting again mi amigo.
