What's the best hot sauce?  I used to be a Louisiana man but lately Frank's Red Hot seems maybe better?  Tabasco, never, unless it was green...

I use Louisiana hot sauce for making my buffalo wing sauce. Not one that I use to add to food. Lately those have been Tapatio or Cholula hot sauces. Really stopped using Tabasco decades ago.

That's Sriracha.  Too much garlic for regular hot sauce.  In asian stuff it;s good,  Scrambled eggs or regular American stuff not my fave.

It makes crappie fillets taste like something other than the batter you dust them with.

I'll never understand the fascination everybody around here has with eating crappie.  If there's a more tasteless meat in the entire universe I don't know what it could possibly be.

Both of those are top shelf in my book!

Regular Tapatio and Chipotle Cholula.

Something lost in translation there Rick. I'm not talking the restaurant brand. I am speaking of the Tabasco brand flavor. A darker smoky hot sauce made by Tabasco.

If anyone does not know, chipotles are smoked and dried jalapenos. The restaurants chain appropriated the term for its name.

I didn't remember they had norovirus and salmonella too. Triple-yuck!
