Scrambled eggs, rotisserie chicken, ground chicken, ground turkey, bologna, cheese, deli meat. Every protein we made had some left over for both, but Max got the big pieces. The humans have been eating well here, but with a much greater emphasis on healthier food and smaller portions. It's been both challenging and interesting trying to find the things that work, or reworking things we love to reduce calories and carbs. More fish, shellfish and chicken, turkey, lean pork and beef. We're having a banner year in the herb garden, and we've used more and more herbs in lieu of sauces, etc. lately. More low-starch veggies too. MOPanfisher Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 Well I haven't been on this page for a while just haven had anything exciting enough to post. But there are some dang tasty looking items. I did have some dang good BBQ at the original Arthur Bryant's or at least that is what I was told. Down town grumpy old black fellers yelling at ya, but man o man the triple decker sammich was about as good a Sammich as I have ever eaten. Unfortunately i think that pig and maybe the turkey too had died of some sort of sleeping sickness because it was sure hard to keep my open the rest of the day. I will however be smoking as many leg quarters as many leg quarters for a fundraiser at church then the next weekend doing it for my family members as we gather to inter some ashes.
