Looks fantastic but I can’t do white wine for some reason.

Is it because you don’t like the taste? Does it you a headache? Or does it make you do things you later regret???

I guess it’s that I don’t like the taste. Plus, For what ever reason I can’t seem to match the taste to any of the foods that are supposed to be great with it. Maybe it’s like the cilantro thing for you.😉

Cant decide which dish I liked the best of your post but visually the sausage gravy gets 1st place, followed closely by the clam soup. The 2 sauces for the prime rib usually enhance that dish by 1000%. Since I have diabetes I try to shy away from the breads but they look darn good. I’d get a huge bowl of that clam soup and go on Netflix and rent Fargo then all could discuss the differences between all the Scandinavians! 😂

ps. Marty has a lathe??

So, I looked up Iowegian. I guess that is the correct spelling as it’s all over the place. There even used to be a newspaper called the Daily Iowegian.

I do a lot of bidness with folks from Iowa and I’ve tossed the term around a bit without seeming to offend anyone. Also called my future wife that years back and that turned out well.

But, look at these definitions from the kinda silly, anyone can post, urban dictionary.  Be sure to read down to number 3 or 4.

Actually wish I’d have put the port sauce on the side because I liked the horseradish cream sauce better. But they were both good.

I guess it's kinda like the term Hoosier around St. louis.  Some take it in pride, others use it to put someone down.   Most from anywhere else, either can't pronounce it, or think of Indiana.

@Mitch f there is a whole thread about lathes on here. Probably not the kind you would be interested in though.
