I did take a smell of a Limburger cheese in the sealed package yesterday at HiVee. I could smell that stuff through the package! Wooooo. I might try it sometime though. Still learning about the pairing with other foods and drinks. That will take time. Found this a couple weeks ago. Who would of thought there were so many cheeses. Overwhelming, http://www.cheese.com/alphabetical/ BilletHead I have tried Limburger. I thought it was a great cheese. It stunk but not as bad as I thought it would. Really smooth and creamy. Nice flavor. I recommend a try. Chief Grey Bear Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Speaking of grilled cheese, some of my favs are from homade pimiento cheese. And the best thing about homemade is that there are thousands of ways to make it. Different cheeses and differert spices! Pickles, peppers, whatever you want! It's freaking endless!! Truly gourmet comfort eating!! MOPanfisher Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Well a simple pork loin roast with carrots and taters in the crock pot will never win any prizes but won the approval of my almost 2yr old grandson. His favorite part is the baby carrots then the meat and finally raters. Wierd little feller. Chief Grey Bear, Gavin and BilletHead 3

And don't forget to try different mayos and such. Look around Google and get some ideas. You'll never buy it again unless you're feeling nostalgic! MOPanfisher Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Sorgy Chief but the thought of pimento cheese gives me the shudders.. All I can vision is pimento loaf cold cuts and that pimento stuff we used to put on celery sticks. I can eat blue cheese straight, pickled pigs feet right out of the jar for a gravel bar snack, but pimento cheese, just can't do it. Mostly in my mind I suspect. Chief Grey Bear 1
Chief Grey Bear Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I used to be that way. But I decided to try it one day. Bought a small tub and liked it. Adding some black pepper goes along way. And grilled in a skillet between pieces of Texas Toast is x10! Gavin Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Have not made pimento cheese in a year or two will have to dig out my recipe and make some. Good party dish. Would not have thought to grill it. Thanks Chief! Gotta try that. Chief Grey Bear 1
