     Homegrown and wild meal,

Charcoal grilled mallard, Steamed wild asparagus topped with Asiago cheese and wilted black seeded Simpson lettuce from our garden.  Life is really nice here in BilletHeadVille right now even though the yard is a swamp,

Steak tonight, on the Weber kettle.    Boy, I should do that more often. Fire up the Weber I mean.

I've always got a buddy when I'm eating something off the grill.

And they are on their best behavior as I clean up.

Mallard served with Michael David seven deadly Zins. Sounds like Scott Leysath and the Sporting chef team was over in Billetheadville. Did Buddy T show up as well :)?

I tend to listen more to Stacy Harris and the goat cheese lady. Buddy T is kind of scary ,

Stuff looks great guys! You have driven me to grilling mode. Just back from the store, and I have a flat iron steak to rub and grill. Beside it, I will char zucchini. I also picked up a couple of bakers to foil wrap and  cook on the grill. Simple great stuff.

Yesterday I served corn and bean salad at a potluck following the OA One Bass Tournament. I was asked for the recipe more than once. That was not the first time I have been asked for this recipe following a potluck. I decided to use an older picture of it and make a blog post. Try it and make suggestions.
