Tonight I took the stub of corned beef from early in the week and turned it into hash with a poached egg and asparagus salad.

    First time try,

 Butternut squash soup. I am going to give my dish a Ness DANG. I suppose I am going to plant some squash next year incase I cannot find a wild volunteer plant . I went ahead and ate, the poor working Mrs. BilletHead will have to wait until she gets home from work. I am going to use the excuse the cook had bad timing,

A few years ago I had tons of butternut squash and tried to make butternut squash soup, mine was not particularly good.  What recipe did you use.

        This is the one I used. Pretty simple and easy. I made one mistake. In the ingredients part where it calls for 1/8 tsp I grabbed the 1/4 tsp and used it instead.

That looks and sounds good. A while back I made a highly-rated recipe for butternut squash soup from Allrecipes. It had cream cheese in it, and though it went against my better judgement, I followed the recipe. Not too good.

Tonight I microwaved a spaghetti squash. Took a jar of plain Prego and doctored it up with a can of clams and juice plus some red pepper flakes and parsley. Not a dang—just so-so.
