Gavin Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Paella night (no starlings or squirrels) the girls made pie. fishinwrench, BilletHead, MOPanfisher and 3 others 6
ness Posted February 5, 2018 Author Posted February 5, 2018 Started with a nice Bloody Mary (mater juice, lemon juice, celery salt, chipotle powder, seasoned pepper, horseradish). Just a splash of vodka, because that’s the rule, but I really like it better virgin Then a little ho’made guac (chips were store bought) Then, halftime was gumbo-liscious: Chicken thigh, andouille, shrimp and leftover crab from last night. Scratched my Cajun food itch for a while. Popped a Zantac and I’m ready for bed 😄 BilletHead, Chief Grey Bear, Gavin and 1 other 4 John

And, congrats to you if you can get your girls to eat exotic stuff like that! Too may kids growing up on nuggets and mac n’cheese. Gavin 1 John

Gavin Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Paella is the Spanish origin of Jambalaya..Basically the same, but saffron based, and no cayenne. Chorizo instead of Andoullie. The kids get exposed to allot of different flavors, but will gobble mac & cheese. Its gotta be Kraft, they wont touch foo foo mac & cheese. rps 1
